FIREARM INSPECTION AND TRANSFER POLICY
Please inspect all firearms carefully before accepting transfer from your FFL. Once a firearm is accepted, it cannot be returned, and all manufacturer defects must be handled and facilitated between the customer and manufacturer only. Locked & Loaded is not liable for transfer fees and Locked & Loaded will not compensate for a transfer fee as this an agreement with the receiving FFL and the customer.
New defective items are covered under the manufacturer’s factory warranty and must be addressed directly with the manufacturer. Locked & Loaded does not accept returns or exchanges for items once they have been transferred, used, or modified in any way.
PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE
It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone who does not hold an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). Firearms purchased online may be picked up in-store or shipped to a verified FFL of your choice.
It is the customer’s sole responsibility to contact the receiving FFL before placing an order to ensure that the dealer will accept the firearm and complete the transfer. FFLs charge their own transfer fees, which vary by dealer; customers must obtain this information directly.
Customers are responsible for providing the receiving FFL with tracking information once it has been issued. Tracking details are sent exclusively to the email address associated with the order. Locked & Loaded assumes no responsibility for communication delays, missed notifications, or shipment refusals resulting from a failure to share tracking information with the FFL.
We do not replace magazines to make an order compliant, and we will not ship to a different address or state after the order is placed. If your FFL accepts the firearm as-is, we will remove restricted magazines and ship accordingly. This must be communicated prior to shipment.
If a firearm is refused or returned after shipment due to non-compliance with state or local law, it will be subject to a strict 25% restocking fee, and shipping charges will not be refunded.
If, however, the firearm is returned because the selected FFL dealer declined the transfer due to their internal policies, was closed at the time of delivery, or otherwise failed to complete the transfer for administrative reasons, the customer has the option to re-ship the order to an alternate FFL of their choosing. In these cases, all reshipping costs must be paid by the customer.
It is the customer’s sole responsibility to communicate with the receiving FFL prior to purchase to confirm acceptance of the transfer. Failure to do so or failure to provide an alternate FFL within a reasonable timeframe will result in the order being canceled and subject to the 25% restocking fee.
There is no deviation from this store policy.
Once a firearm has been accepted by the receiving FFL, the sale is final, and the firearm is no longer eligible for return. Any defective or damaged items must be addressed directly through the manufacturer’s warranty.
ADDRESS VERIFICATION AND SIGNATURE
To combat fraud, Locked & Loaded enforces strict verification measures. We reserve the right to require an adult signature upon delivery for any order and to request additional, non-computer-generated documentation to confirm identity for certain products. Refusal to comply with these measures will result in order cancellation and a 15% cancellation fee.
Orders that are pending shipment or awaiting verification may be eligible for cancellation prior to shipment, subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Applicable administrative or restocking fees apply based on the order’s processing stage at the time of cancellation.
CHANGING, MODIFYING, OR SUBSTITUTING ORDERS
Orders cannot be changed or modified once placed.
CANCELED ORDERS
- If an order has not yet been placed for shipment, customers may request cancellation. Approved cancellations are subject to a 15% administrative fee to cover processing, handling, and payment-related costs. If the customer chooses store credit (LockedLoaded.com gift card) instead of a refund to the original payment method, the 15% fee will be waived.
- If an order has already been placed for shipment, a return or refusal may be approved at Locked & Loaded’s discretion. In these cases, a 25% restocking fee will apply, and shipping charges will not be refunded.
- If a firearm has already been accepted by your local FFL, it is no longer eligible for return under any circumstances. Inspect your firearm carefully before accepting the transfer. After acceptance, the firearm is covered exclusively under the manufacturer’s warranty.
- If an item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify customer service within 48 hours of delivery for review. Approved cases will be handled under the manufacturer’s warranty or our internal resolution procedures.
- If verification is required for fraud prevention and a customer refuses to comply, the order will be canceled and refunded minus a 15% cancellation fee.
All cancellation requests must be reviewed and approved by Locked & Loaded. Reviews are completed within 24–48 business hours and decisions are communicated by email.
ORDER FULFILLMENT AND SHIPPING
All orders are processed and shipped from a distributor warehouse or our in-store inventory within 5–10 business days after all required documentation (including FFL information, when applicable) has been received. Processing may extend during high-volume or supply-constraint periods.
Carriers: UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking information is provided once the item has been processed for shipment and scanned by the carrier.
Our Flat Rate Shipping policy applies only to the lower 48 states and specific product categories. We do not ship internationally or outside this coverage area. Orders placed outside these parameters will be canceled and may incur a restocking fee.
Address Match Required: Orders cannot be processed if billing and shipping addresses do not match.
Serialized Items/Firearms: Shipments are routed to the FFL selected at checkout. Do not list the FFL as your shipping address; FFL details are submitted separately through required documentation.
Delivery Attempts/Return to Sender (RTS): If the receiving party is unavailable, the customer must coordinate a new delivery attempt with the carrier. If the carrier returns the package to sender and the issue is not resolved within 48 hours of our receipt, the order will be canceled and may incur a restocking fee.
No P.O. Boxes: A valid physical address is required.
Unresponsive Orders: If we do not receive required responses or documentation within 30 days of order creation, the order will be canceled, and a 15% administrative fee will apply.
INSURED VS. UNINSURED SHIPPING (UPDATED)
Insured Shipping: Available within the lower 48 states. Coverage protects against loss or damage in transit until the carrier confirms delivery. To open a claim, customers must email photos and claim details to info@lockedloaded.com within 24 hours of carrier-confirmed delivery. The insured shipping fee is non-refundable, even if a claim is approved.
Uninsured Shipping (Updated): If insured shipping is not purchased at checkout, the order is uninsured. In the event of loss, theft, or damage in transit, Locked & Loaded’s liability is limited to the carrier’s default coverage (typically $100). Customers must notify Locked & Loaded within 24 hours of any delivery issue or failure to receive the package so we can initiate a carrier claim. Once a shipment has been created, insurance cannot be added retroactively, and the order remains uninsured.
AMMUNITION PURCHASES
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition ships ground; all ammunition sales are final. Always use the correct ammunition for your specific firearm. Check your local laws for any additional regulations. Customers are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal laws.
It is our policy to transfer all ammunition purchases for California and New York to an FFL. Effective 2024, Washington State requires all ammunition purchases to be shipped to an FFL.
RESTRICTED PRODUCTS
Certain items are restricted by federal, state, and/or local laws and regulations. Sales may be limited to authorized users (e.g., military, law enforcement, corrections, security, peace officers).
Laws are complex and may change. Any summaries we provide do not constitute legal advice. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure any item is legal to use, carry, possess, purchase, or own in their jurisdiction. Documentation may be required (e.g., purchase orders, official ID, certification forms). We reserve the right to require end user and end use information and/or compliance certification forms.
By purchasing restricted items, you certify you are legally permitted to possess them, will use them lawfully, and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Locked & Loaded does not manufacture or assemble products and is not responsible for third-party intellectual property claims. No warranties are made or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages.
STATE LAW COMPLIANCE & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Laws and regulations governing firearms, firearm components, ammunition, and related accessories vary by state and locality and may change without notice. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to understand, verify, and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations prior to placing an order.
Locked & Loaded is not responsible for educating customers on individual state or local requirements, nor for determining whether a product is lawful for a customer’s intended use or jurisdiction.
Certain states, including California, impose additional verification, documentation, and delivery requirements beyond standard checkout. Orders subject to these requirements may be placed on hold pending compliance, regardless of whether the requirements are listed on individual product pages.
Refusal or failure to comply with required state-mandated verification will result in order cancellation in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

- I am not a fugitive from justice.
- I am not subject to a restraining order of any kind.
- I have not been adjudicated as a mental defective and I have not been committed to any mental institution.

- I am at least twenty-one (21) years old where required by law.

INDEMNIFICATION AND AGREEMENT TO DEFEND
If any of my representations are incorrect or if I fail to comply with these Terms of Sale, I will indemnify, defend, save harmless, and release lockedloaded.com and its owners, agents, officers, and employees from any civil liability or criminal prosecution resulting from my purchase.

Verifcation must be obtained in a timely manner, otherwise Locked & Loaded reserves the right to cancel and refund the issuing card minus a 15% administravtive fee. Orders are placed on hold pending address verification. The stated lead time for processing and shipment will not begin until verification is successfully completed.

Carriers require the shipper, not the recipient, to file and control all claims — therefore, customers cannot file directly. Once the carrier has completed its review and approved reimbursement, Locked & Loaded will issue a refund of up to $100, in accordance with the carrier’s final determination.

I fully agree that if any of my representations when making purchases under the Terms of Sale are incorrect or if I fail to comply with these Terms of Sale, then I will indemnify, defend, save harmless, and release lockedloaded.com and its owners, agents, officers, and employees against any civil liability or criminal prosecution resulting from my purchase from Locked Loaded.
